Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.

Do you want privacy for video meetings or an inner-sanctum workstation for focused spurts? If so, a solution integrated into your wardrobe could be convenient. Just open the curtains to get going – draw them again, and it’s all stowed away.
Solutions to the challenges of working from home can be found in more places than you might think. Of course, a dedicated home workspace is great, but there are also ways to make smart use of shared space, with flexible on/off solutions.

Video calls while lying down, Instagram-worthy meeting rooms, plants, soft furnishings, cosy lounge areas with a great focus on privacy and well-being are just some of the latest office requirements.
