Celebrate the holidays like a Swede

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, some parts of Sweden see just a few hours of sunlight each day. For generations, this seasonal shift marked a time for Swedes to gather together, make their homes cosy, and spend time prepping (and enjoying) good things to eat. With VINTERSAGA—featuring favoured treats like ginger thins, saffron rolls, and mulled wine (preferably with almonds and raisins stirred in)—you can stay inside and enjoy the holidays like a traditional Swede, too.

A shelter from the cold

As Christmas approaches in Sweden, days are shorter, nights are longer, and temperatures drop. But Swedish homes are anything but dark and cold. Great efforts are made to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Families spend time preparing Christmas decorations while enjoying good things to eat. With VINTERSAGA, the home becomes a serene shelter from the winter cold.
