The 3 TUVKORNELL candle holders were designed by Marianne Hagberg and Knut Hagberg already in 1982. Then with the name CYLINDER. An example of IKEA icons given new colours in the Nytillverkad collection.

"The idea for these candle holders came from a visit at a supplier who made metal furniture. We saw a lot of leftover materials that we felt could be used. So we drew a straight cylinder with weight focused at the bottom for added stability. The set with the 3 CYLINDER candle holders were seen in our 1982 catalogue and has since been re-launched several times. Now called TUVKORNELL in the Nytillverkad collection, our hope is that they will now brighten up even more homes."
