When designing the interior of a healthcare facility, solutions must not only be aesthetically pleasing and inspiring, but also very carefully considered in terms of hygiene requirements. When all elements are successfully aligned, the outcome is a source of joy for both the staff and customers. Did our designers succeed? See for yourself at the “Dental Therapy Clinic”.
“Our goal was to establish a space that seamlessly integrates functionality, comfort, and modern aesthetics. We wanted to ensure that patients not only feel at ease and secure but also look forward to returning. Equally important was providing a comfortable working environment for the clinic staff, fostering a sense of order and efficiency.”

Creating cosiness with minimal measures

Colours have played a crucial role in infusing warmth and cosiness into the clinic's offices and common areas. The interior features warm earthy tones, complemented by a few vibrant accents. Another effective solution for adding cosiness and the illusion of space are mirrors on the cabinet doors, a feature not commonly observed in dentists' offices.
Professionals working in the clinic require ample space for storing small tools and instruments. That's why we have decided to use furniture from our Kitchen department for the dentists' offices. The kitchen cabinets with drawers are exceptionally spacious and functional, effectively utilizing the space around specific dental equipment.

“The architectural layout of the space was crafted by architect Miglė Šalnaitė. However, the next step proved to be our greatest challenge: selecting the right pieces of furniture. Our criteria extended beyond mere aesthetics; we sought functionality and comfort tailored to daily use. We were looking for Scandinavian simplicity and the best value for money but thought that many options would appear unsuitable for non-standard spaces. IKEA B2B team came up with a proposal, which we negotiated and approved, and took care of everything, from delivery to assembly.”
