Property experts have observed a shift in buyer preferences – more and more people are looking not for empty spaces with partial finishes, but for homes that are ready to move into. We share the same vision: we want homes in Lithuania to be cosy, stylish and universally comfortable. That’s why we collaborate with property developers to create thoughtful interior solutions together. Take a look at our latest project – a 42 sq. m flat developed in partnership with the individual home builder “Plote”.

“Those planning to purchase a home are increasingly valuing their time. Buyers are now more concerned not only with trying to save money but also with avoiding the additional hassles that often arise when attempting to furnish a property independently. Many familiar experiences of drawn-out, time-consuming and stressful home installation processes influence the decision to move into a fully-furnished home, where there are fewer concerns.”

Diana Kliukovska, development manager at the individual home builder “Plote”
Work on real estate projects always begins with dialogue – clearly defining the target audience, analysing buyer needs and aligning priorities. Design decisions must be not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically grounded, taking into account what is relevant for the particular property: whether it’s a flat for a young couple, an investment intended for rental or a home for a family with children. A well-planned interior helps shape a clear identity for the space, which is why a professional perspective is valuable from the very start – it helps navigate the overwhelming variety of trends, materials and solutions.

Most common home furnishing mistakes:

  • Poorly planned spaces and inadequate lighting.
  • Lack of storage – inefficient use of space creates a sense of clutter.
  • Choosing poor quality materials – investing in a home pays off in the long run, so it’s worth spending more on finishes and furniture that look high-quality, last longer and add extra value to the property.
  • Overlooking ergonomics – what looks appealing in a magazine may turn out to be uncomfortable or impractical in real life.

“Many people want a trendy interior but forget that trends come and go. Bold combinations of colours or shapes that initially impress can become overwhelming after just a few months, leading to a desire to change the interior again. That’s why it’s important not to lose touch with your personal taste and lifestyle – an interior should not only look beautiful, but also meet the demands of everyday life.”

It all started with a yellow armchair

The flat we designed stands out with its bold character and practical interior solutions, inspired by the client’s clear expectations – a daring, distinctive yet comfortable home, intended for long-term rental. The true hero of the space is a bright yellow lounge chair, which sets the tone that flows throughout the entire flat. To soften the overall look and add a sense of harmony, we introduced natural oak finishes in key areas: the kitchen worktop, bedroom wardrobes and furniture fronts.

“The interior was shaped by a seamless, multifunctional piece of furniture that connects the hallway wardrobe with the kitchen area. Different cabinet fronts help to visually distinguish the functions, while a bookshelf in the centre adds a cosy touch. We combined textures, patterns and colours that reflect the client’s wish to create an interior that is expressive yet cohesive.”
