Visit the IKEA store in Vilnius and explore another newly furnished room by our interior designer Anželika. When working on the project, she imagined that this one-room apartment would accommodate a single 42-year-old mother working in a pharmacy and her first-grader daughter.
Form meets function
Some people choose furniture for their home based on purpose. Others prefer design. But wouldn’t it be nice to have both qualities in the same item? Scandinavian design, castors and a shelf make the TINGBY table practical and easy to combine with furniture in different styles, while the VANILJSTÅNG stand in clean simple line sis perfect for putting your plants on memorabilia on it.
Daughter’s space
One side of the room is separated with curtains and designed to suit the first-grader’s needs. There is a spacious wardrobe with bold FLISBERGET doors, a space-saving FYRESDAL day-bed, and a matching study corner in industrial style featuring an old-fashioned desk and a swivel chair from our KULLABERG series.
Same parts, different combinations
IVAR storage system is the most important piece of furniture in this room. These frames, cabinets and shelves can be used to create a wide variety of combinations: from bookshelves in the living room to a practical storage above the desk, in the children’s room, kitchen or pantry.
Tribute to plants
Plants play an important role in this home. Both in the family are interested in herbalism and spend a lot of time nurturing plants. Various herbs can be found not only growing in pots, hanging on crossbars to dry, or already dried in KORKEN glass containers, but even on furniture: while furnishing this room, Anželika decided to decorate the wooden cabinet doors with plant motifs as well.Total Items 92
