Photoshoot with The Meatball

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a meatball? Just ask our friend The Meatball! He'll be waiting for anyone who wants to take a picture together and handout polaroid snapshots as a gift.

Where? At the Vilnius store entrance.

Say meatball!

Meet us at the photo wall, where you and the whole family can pretend to be the Swedish meatballs. Our photographer will capture your funniest moments in polaroid snapshots.

Where? At the Pick-up and ordering points in Kaunas and Klaipeda.

Chef's special

You've probably already had the classic Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberry jam many times. But to celebrate the occasion, our restaurant's chef has prepared something really special. Curious to try? Come and taste the new dish.

Where? At the Swedish Restaurant.

Selection of the tastiest meatballs

Which ones taste the best? If you don't know it yet, make sure you come to the Swedish meatballs tasting, try them all and vote for your favourites.

Where? At the Swedish Food Market in Vilnius. At the Pick-up and ordering points in Kaunas and Klaipeda.

Yummy tattoos

Look for our soft friends when you arrive at the Vilnius store: The Teddy Bear, The Heart, The Meatball and The Bun will walk around saying hi to kids and handing out funny stick-on tattoos of Swedish meatballs.

Where? At the Vilnius store entrance.

A taste of Sweden

If Sweden were a taste, it would taste like HUVUDROLL meatballs. The classic meatballs were launched in 1985. Since then, they have become an icon on plates around the world. But eventually we realised we had to extend our meatball family with tasty alternatives, such as the mild-tasting chicken meatballs, the delicious veggie balls, and the sustainable plant balls that taste just like meat.

One product and hundreds of different tastes

Oven baked, fried in a pan, cooked in stock, skewered, topped with hot sauce or lingonberry jam, served with vegetables or pasta... We could go on and on and on, because Swedish meatballs come in all shapes and flavours. Could you guess which of them are mostly enjoyed by us at IKEA? Try out the recipes of our co-workers!
