We wanted the design to work for elegant glass drawers as well as trouser hangers and shoe shelves. Everything should look beautiful together, no matter which interior organisers you choose. The idea behind KOMPLEMENT is to make it easier for you to find your favourite clothes and accessories. That’s why the interior organisers have a neutral style, with soft friendly shapes that show what’s inside.”
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
Short of space? A family wardrobe can eliminate the need for clothes storage elsewhere at home. As one big solution, it’s more adaptable to changes over time – and easier when there’s clean laundry, because everything goes in one place.
The 50th anniversary episode of "Home Idea with IKEA" invites us to Kaunas. The occasion is special, no less than the heroine of this week, the golden-ager Laima who is bursting with joy and energy.
