Designers Knut Hagberg and Marianne Hagberg

"The inspiration for the BJÖRKSNÄS collection comes from our Scandinavian roots and from the reality of everyday life. The neat and airy look is characterised by natural materials with fine carpentry details and proportions that make the furniture fit in many rooms. These are classic and freestanding products created to last a long time and to survive the ever-changing world of interior design. Practical and with a simplistic design idiom which is typically Scandinavian."

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favourite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood.

We all need the space to explore our own interests. For some people, that means getting out into the world, but even in a family home, environments can be created that allow individuals to find their own flow. In this apartment, the bedrooms have been designed for just that.
