Key features

The watering can is both functional and decorative.

You can store water or a nutrient mixture in the can, so everything is ready when you water your plants.

This product has dual functions, you can use it as a vase or a watering can.

The idea with this watering can is that it looks so good that you happily leave it out on display when not using it. Then it’s always close at hand – and makes it easy to remember to water your plants!

Designer Monika Mulder

"The shape was extra important when I designed IKEA PS 2002 water can. I wanted to give it an organic, fluid shape so it would harmonise with plants and running water. By using different templates I was able to sculpt a prototype that felt completely perfect. The final water can has both a shape and colour that make you want to have it out on display, instead of hidden away. And if you like, you can also use it as a vase."

Unused (and perhaps unusual) spaces can be put to smart use for storage at home. You just need to find them. Under the sofa? Behind the bed? In the window? Or perhaps choose new furniture that has extra storage built in.

“Home idea with IKEA”: a home office goes smart

He is lucky to have a separate home office in the apartment but not entirely happy with the way it‘s furnished. Darius is dreaming of a modern and ergonomic place to work, more space for storage and a cosy reading corner to spend his free time after work. But does it mean that he should level his old room to the ground? Our interior designer Gabija has shown what can be done without major repairs.
