"Home idea with IKEA": new beginnings in the young family's bedroom

“Home idea with IKEA”: turning old bedroom into brand new living room
“There are five of us living together: me, my husband and the crazy trio of our 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old twins,” introduces Birutė, our hero of this week. With the birth of the twins, all the family's attention shifted to them, so the apartment was shortly forgotten. Therefore now, the biggest wish of this family is to set up a cosy living room for having fun together.

Not even a gloomy weather forecast can put an end to the fun and creativity with a family room like this one. Highlights include the big, comfy sofa at its centre (with removable covers, no less), family-friendly storage, and activity corners for creating and playing.

This week, we are guests of Kamilė and Gabija, two little sisters sharing one room. As the girls grew, their small room became too cramped, thus their older brother agreed to swap and leave his bigger room for the sisters. “Home idea with IKEA”: psychologist‘s office in the family crisis centre
After a short break, our interior designer Ūla is back to the family crisis centre in Kaunas. She has already furnished several rooms and lounge areas here, but this time her task is even more interesting: she came here to furnish a cosy and private office for a child psychologist.
